Woolly Clothing Co. merino sleep sack and swaddle Review

The goal of Woolly Clothing Co. is to make quality merino wool products at an affordable price. They recently expanded from mens apparel to include a few baby and home items. Their wool is sourced from Woolmark certified Australian merino, which is regarded as one of the finest wools and is manufactured in China. They are certified members of the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) and meet a high standard for quality, sustainability and excellent working conditions.

This review is for the Woolly infant swaddle blanket and sleep sack. I received these items in exchange for my full and unbiased review, however all opinions are my own. This post may also include some affiliate links for your convenience, click here to read my full disclosure policy)

Woolly Clothing Co Merino Swaddle and Sleep Sac Review

Infant swaddle blanket:  Measuring at approximately a 45 inch square, the silky soft merino swaddle is generously sized for infant and toddler use. At a weight of 260 GSM it is durable and warm when used as a single layer or a swaddle. I have used it daily for several months either as a light cover, in the car seat, and even as a nursing cover (I tie two corners together and then put it around my neck). There has been virtually no pilling and it looks almost like new even after the amount of use it has gotten. Currently it is only available in a charcoal color.

Infant sleep sack: At a weight of 190 GSM the sleep sack is a versatile weight for various conditions. The charcoal color does not soil easily and makes it a good option for camping or other situations where light warmth is needed. It comes in two sizes, 6-18 months and 18-24 months and is very generously sized with a zipper than runs the entire length of the sack. Woolly also offers a heavyweight (310 GSM) quilted sleep sack if more warmth is needed.

Both items are recommended gentle wash on cold and tumble dry on low or line dry.

About Anne

Hello! I am a mama to a toddler boy and two wheaten terriers. When my little boy was a baby, I was researching natural fiber baby clothes and accessories, and it was very hard to find reviews and personal life experiences. I then decided to help others make the best decisions about organic natural clothing and products for their own families.
