Merino wool is certainly an investment, especially when children grow so quickly. I always consider what items will be most useful and which ones will get the most wear. So if you are undecided about where to start with wool for your child, this is what I think your first purchase should be… a merino wool tank top or vest. It is by far the most used wool item we have.
It is the perfect base layer under any type of clothing. Its easy to layer additional wool on top or other shirts and sweaters. On bitter cold winter nights I use it as an extra layer and on warm summer days it can be worn on its own. It is comforting to know that regardless of the weather my little guy has a warm, temperature regulating layer on his core.
